Staff were great, location for the ski school and the lifts was amazing and even though very dated, the hotel was quite cool with its unique design. There’s a kids room that wasn’t too bad and the onsen was nice. One thing to keep in mind is there are zero, like zero shops around and you are very isolated. I would recommend bringing snack food with you as the hotel food is very expensive. Loved the alpine bar in the evenings as we could get a toasty or a pizza and a drink whilst the snow fell around us.

Lauren

A true ski in ski out hotel with good rental equipment available. The hotel is quite dated but we quite enjoyed the 70s vibe. The Japanese restaurant was fantastic but the French restaurant was disappointing. The rooms were exceptionally large by Japanese standards but the bathrooms are very dated. Reception staff are really friendly with great English. So a mixed bag, but I would be happy to stay again.

Robert

Customer Service is top-notch. They really are helping you. Skii rental and school are run by the same hotel. Convenient. You get everything you need, and just focus on skiing and snowboarding. Free use of washing machine and dryer. Food is delicious! EVERYTHING is available to use at the public bath.

We loved this place! We got dinner and breakfast as part of our package and they were both amazing. The staff were exceptional and being right there in the snow just made it the best trip. This is definitely the best snow we have ever been in and the best service. Cannot wait to go back!!!

Belinda

Staff were fantastic, so helpful. Room spacious by Japanese standards and very comfortable. A great hotel in a fantastic location. Japanese restaurant very good, French restaurant also good but not much choice of wine and wine prices very high.
